Sometimes you get something from reading the Ed Banger-blog Cool Cats. Some days ago, DJ Mehdi posted a remix he did of Crookers' Embrace The Martian that never got released. This is what Mehdi himself writes about it:
A-Trak asked me to do it for a possible Fools Gold release of this baby, around September 2008. I guess, by the time I got to finish this (which I never really did), them crooks and the Cleveland kid were touching the stratosphere with their ‘Day and Night’ bomb, and thus never dropped ‘The Martian’. DJ Mehdi also writes that he will release a remix compilation this atum, named RED BLACK AND BLUE - Some Remixes By DJ Mehdi.
